M.AB.A Record Holders
Time and Speed records, can only be set at a M.AB.A approved
race events, on approved courses. Records shall be established for each hull type/engine or motor class. For setting time
records, one boat per time trail, will be allowed on the course/track. Races of multiple boats will not count towards time
records, with the exceptions of the rodeo races. M-AB-A Records: The M-AB-A Record Program is conducted at every sanctioned racing event . Each record run must occur
during qualifying and/or elimination rounds and is in strict compliance with the starting, running, finishing, timing procedures
of the M-AB-A.
1.) Each Airboat must be inspected
to ensure compliance with the specifications for the class in which it enters.

"150' Oval"
Overall time record,
for a 10 lap heat, is the overall time for completion
of ten consecutive laps. A ten second penalty, for buoy cuts, and a five second penalty for a buoy hit, will be added to the
overall time for each offense.
Lap time record,
Records for Top Speed and Time Oval Track Will run
3 laps and a average of 2 laps will be the top speed and time
"M" Rodeo"
Over all time record,
for a 3 lap heat, is the overall time for completion of three consecutive laps. A ten second penalty, for buoy cuts, and a
five second penalty for a buoy hit, will be added to the overall time for each offence.
Lap time record,
is set by the fastest completed lap, of the competed three lap heat. A ten second penalty, for buoy cuts, and a five second
penalty for a buoy hit, will be added to each lap time, for each offense.
Once the boat/driver is called for his/her time trail, the boat/driver will have 2-½ minutes to start his/her time trail.
The three lap heat must be completed, for recognition of the overall time and/or lap time.
Time records can be set during any M.AB.A "M"; Rodeo timed race/meet, according with the race rules and regulations,
set by M.AB.A.
